Front Loader Operator - Concrete Plant Responsibilities The Front Loader Operator plays a critical role in daily plant operations by ensuring the continuous and efficient supply of raw materials for ready-mix concrete production. This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, maintaining material flow, and supporting overall plant functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a front-end loader to move and load aggregates (sand, stone, and other materials) into designated bins to ensure uninterrupted batching for ready-mix concrete production. Maintain proper material levels in all aggregate bins to support timely loading of concrete mixer trucks for delivery to job sites. Unload cement tankers into plant silos, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed and inventory levels are maintained. Load crushed concrete and other materials into dump trucks for removal or recycling as required. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment, including the front loader, to ensure safe and efficient operation. Conduct general plant maintenance, including housekeeping, cleaning, and minor repairs to keep the facility safe and operational. Monitor material quality and report any inconsistencies or issues to plant management. Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel. Assist plant personnel with additional tasks as needed to support overall production and delivery operations.

Qualifications:

Experience operating front-end loaders or similar heavy equipment preferred. Strong understanding of safety procedures in an industrial or construction environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment in varying weather conditions. Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. This role is essential to ensuring efficient plant operations and timely delivery of high-quality ready-mix concrete to customers.

Up to $22.00 per hour
