Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Concrete Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with concrete and a strong understanding of industrial concrete construction processes. This role involves knowledge in start up including what tools or equipment needed to complete job, Layout, carpentry, rebar busting, concrete, anchor bolt layout, demolition, quality control, and clean up with close out of job to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications. The Concrete Foreman will work closely with other construction professionals to deliver high-quality results. Duties Prepare and set up concrete forms according to project specifications. Pour, and level concrete using various tools and equipment. Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools, and machines such as trowels, floats, screeds, excavators, and skid steers. Interpret schematics and blueprints to understand and complete project requirements. Call concrete plants to schedule pours. Call third party testing companies to schedule tests for pours when needed. Call suppliers to deliver materials on site. Ensure that all tools are kept in clean and working order at all times. Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and best practices on the construction site. Collaborate with team to integrate concrete foundations into broader construction projects. Perform or schedule maintenance on tools and equipment used in the finishing process. Assist with frame carpentry and trim carpentry tasks as needed. layout string with batter boards to correct elevations and square. Follow all safety procedures for each Job and ensure crew follows procedures accordingly. Ensure through scheduling and proactivity with crew that job is complete on or before schedule. Layout site for concrete according to Plans and specifications provided. Proficiency in operating concrete finishing machines and other related machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Ability to read and interpret construction schematics accurately. Familiarity with concrete techniques and practices. Competence in frame carpentry and trim carpentry skills. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes and anchor bolt/weld plate location on all projects. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with crew on a construction site. Join us as we build exceptional structures that stand the test of time!
