Epoxy Flooring Crew Lead $40-$45/hour + up to $6,000 in 30/60/90-day bonuses + monthly production bonuses Wilmington Floor Coatings — Wilmington, NC Wilmington Floor Coatings is looking for an experienced, highly dependable Crew Lead to become our first lead installation hire. This is not an entry-level position . If you've usually been the person fixing everyone else's mistakes on the crew, we want to talk to you. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of a jobsite, lead another installer, communicate professionally with homeowners, troubleshoot problems, and consistently deliver excellent work without constant supervision. Most of our work will be residential garage and concrete floor coatings throughout the Wilmington area. What You'll Do Lead a small floor-coating installation crew Prepare concrete using grinders and professional dust-extraction equipment Repair cracks, spalls, and surface imperfections Install epoxy, polyurea, and polyaspartic coating systems Broadcast and finish decorative flake systems Inspect completed work for quality Communicate professionally with homeowners Organize and maintain tools, materials, equipment, and the company vehicle Train and develop another installer Help improve installation processes as the company grows We're Looking For Direct experience with epoxy flooring, polyaspartic coatings, concrete coatings, or professional concrete preparation is strongly preferred. We will also consider exceptional flooring or coatings professionals with strong surface-preparation and crew-lead experience.

You should be:

Experienced in professional installation or skilled trades Comfortable operating grinders, vacuums, and power tools Extremely dependable and punctual Detail-oriented Comfortable leading another employee Professional around homeowners Able to troubleshoot problems on a jobsite Organized with tools and equipment In possession of a valid driver's license Prior crew-lead experience is preferred, but demonstrated ability matters more than job title. Compensation $40-$45/hour , depending on experience. Plus up to $6,000 in first-90-day performance bonuses : 30 days: up to $1,000 60 days: up to $2,000 90 days: up to $3,000 After the initial ramp-up, Crew Leads will also be eligible for monthly production bonuses tied to qualified installed revenue, quality, efficiency, and customer experience.

High-performing Crew Leads will have a realistic path to $100,000+ annual compensation , with additional upside as production grows. As the company expands, strong performers will also have opportunities to move into Senior Crew Lead and Production Manager roles .
