In this role, you will assist in the finishing and finishing-related tasks for concrete projects, ensuring smooth, durable, and high-quality surfaces. Your energetic approach and commitment to precision will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and renovation projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in concrete finishing, masonry, and general construction while working in a fast-paced environment that values safety, teamwork, and craftsmanship. Duties Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to achieve smooth, level surfaces according to project specifications. Operate hand tools and power tools such as trowels, screeds, mixers, and grinders to shape and finish concrete surfaces. Install rebar and other reinforcement materials as needed for structural integrity. Support with form setting, stripping, and preparation for concrete pours on various projects including hardscape installations and renovations. Perform heavy lifting of materials such as rebar, and formwork safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean worksite by organizing tools and debris removal while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of concrete finishing techniques. • Mechanical knowledge related to power tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments. • Strong communication skills with a focus on teamwork and safety compliance. Valid driver's license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.
