Concrete Foreman

Job Description

Concrete Foreman (Structural) Lead crews. Build projects that matter. Grow your career. Heartland Concrete & Construction is looking for experienced Concrete Foremen to lead commercial concrete crews on structural projects throughout Nebraska and the surrounding region. If you are a hands-on leader who values safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork, we'd like to talk with you. As a Concrete Foreman, you will supervise daily field operations, coordinate your crew, and work closely with Division Managers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. What You'll Do Lead and supervise commercial concrete crews on structural and flatwork projects. Plan and coordinate daily work activities to meet production goals. Conduct daily Pre-Task Plans (PTPs), toolbox talks, and safety briefings. Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite. Read and interpret construction drawings and project plans. Perform quality control inspections throughout all phases of work. Operate and oversee the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and light equipment. Communicate project expectations, daily goals, and upcoming work with your crew. Mentor and develop crew members while promoting Heartland's culture and values. Work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and Safety personnel to keep projects on schedule. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of commercial concrete construction experience (4+ years preferred). Previous experience leading crews in commercial concrete construction. Experience with structural concrete, flatwork, or both. Ability to read construction drawings and specifications. OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain after hire). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to operate common concrete tools and equipment. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements, including E-Verify employment authorization verification, Background screening, and Drug screening Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely perform physically demanding construction work throughout the workday. Why Join HCC?
