In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating heavy equipment, managing concrete mixture processes, and maintaining safety standards to ensure high-quality production. Your expertise in equipment handling, production management and safety protocols will drive the success of our operation while supporting a collaborative and safety-focused work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, operate advanced machinery, and contribute to production goals. Responsibilities Operate loaders, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely to transport raw materials, manage stockpiles, maintain yard cleanliness and load concrete plants. Manage the computerized batching process by accurately measuring ingredients, controlling and adjusting batching parameters , and ensuring consistent concrete quality while maintaining production goals. Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as concrete plants, loaders, and other equipment to ensure optimal operation. Adhere to safety standards in production environments, and enforce safety protocol adherence among team members. Assist with the casting, production and handling of concrete blocks. Maintain detailed records of production activities, delivery ticket information, equipment maintenance logs, and safety compliance documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in construction industry roles with knowledge of heavy lifting, heavy equipment operation, and outdoor work environments. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in plant and equipment maintenance. Strong understanding of mixture design principles for concrete production and concrete mix testing procedures. Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to mixture proportions. Prior concrete production experience or manufacturing background is preferred but not required. Commitment to safety standards in production environments with a focus on safety protocol adherence.
