This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial developments to residential renovations. As a Concrete Worker, you'll be at the forefront of construction, utilizing your skills to pour, finish, and install concrete with precision and safety. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about building solid foundations, this role is perfect for you! Responsibilities Prepare concrete mixes using mixers and ensure proper consistency for each project Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to follow specifications accurately Set up formwork and framing structures to shape concrete according to design plans Install rebar reinforcement within forms to strengthen concrete structures Pour concrete into forms, ensuring even distribution and proper placement Finish concrete surfaces with tools such as trowels, floats, and power tools for smoothness and durability Operate heavy machinery including concrete pumps and cutting tools safely and efficiently Adhere strictly to construction safety regulations and protocols at all times Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other trades on-site for seamless project execution Conduct quality checks during and after concrete installation to meet project standards Qualifications Proven experience working on construction projects, particularly with concrete pouring, finishing, and formwork construction Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation Ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence Skilled in rebar installation, concrete cutting, plastering, stucco application, drywall work, roofing, flooring installation, caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, masonry, restoration work, framing carpentry, renovation projects, and concrete pumping techniques is highly desirable Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards Strong attention to detail with excellent interpretation of blueprint specifications Embark on a rewarding career where your craftsmanship builds lasting structures!
