In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of concrete-related tasks to help build durable, high-quality structures. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring safety, precision, and efficiency on every site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to large-scale commercial developments, all while adhering to strict safety standards and quality expectations. While not doing concrete jobs, we are a pond construction company. So you would be helping with pond construction. Duties Prepare construction sites by setting up formwork, rebar installation, and ensuring proper layout according to blueprints and schematics Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during pouring and finishing processes Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to execute precise concrete placements and formwork construction Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, sealing, and surface smoothing to achieve desired textures and specifications Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure environment for team members Conduct heavy lifting and manual labor required for concrete work and related tasks in various weather conditions Qualifications Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete work or related trades such as carpentry or masonry Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation (including concrete pumps and mixers), and safety procedures Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of tasks Knowledge of concrete forming techniques, rebar installation, and finishing methods Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of construction plans Working knowledge of construction safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and commercial driving when necessary Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex tasks such as tile laying or flooring installation This position is ideal for individuals passionate about building durable structures with a keen eye for detail.
