Job Summary:

Gotham Ready Mix, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our operations team. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing inspections and tests on concrete to ensure mix is to standards.

Essential Functions and Basic Responsibilities:

Ensure quality throughout the entire process of producing ready mix concrete to include raw materials, mix designs and finished products. Interact regularly with customers, sales representatives, operation and production employees, vendors and engineers. Oversee quality control of concrete on job sites. Maintain records and write reports regarding job site issues and product problems. Assist in ensuring that job mix formulas are incorporated into mixing plant operations consistent with central laboratory design. Compile and report final summaries of testing results from completed projects. Interact professionally and promptly with customers to ensure their concrete needs are met. Follow all safety protocols including required PPE when at sites or handling concrete/chemicals. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of concrete mix designs Valid driver's license Good communication skills

Education and Experience:

A.C.I. Field Technician Grade 1 MoDOT certified

Working Conditions:

Exposure to loud noises, heat, and welding fumes. Work will involve standing, kneeling, lifting for long periods of time. Work is done in a concrete plant or job sites.
