Opportunity to lead large, foundational concrete projects HIgh reputable firm, long runway for growth About Our Client Our client is a well established concrete contractor that focuses on foundational concrete work. The contractor we work with is a strong name, and a leader within its space. Job Description Supervise all on-site concrete construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and site teams to maintain project schedules and budgets. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues promptly. Manage material orders and inventory to prevent delays and maintain project flow. Provide leadership and guidance to on-site teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Prepare daily reports on project progress and site activities. Resolve on-site challenges efficiently to keep the project on track. The Successful Applicant A successful Concrete Superintendent - New York, New York should have: Experience with managing concrete construction projects from start to finish. Strong understanding of concrete construction techniques, materials, and safety protocols. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage on-site teams. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Proficiency in preparing and maintaining project documentation.
