We work on municipal and commercial site concrete — roads, parking lots, curbs, and related flatwork — throughout Northeast Ohio, and we're looking for an experienced concrete finisher to join our crew. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, journeyman-level Concrete Finisher with a strong background in site concrete — roads, parking lots, curbs, sidewalks, drive approaches, and related flatwork. This is not an entry-level position, and it is not residential work; we're looking for a leader who can finish quality site concrete and help set the pace and standard for the crew with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Finish site concrete — roads, parking lots, curbs, sidewalks, drive approaches, and related flatwork — to grade and specification. Straight edge and screed concrete to proper grade, thickness, and slope. Bull float freshly placed concrete. Broom finish concrete surfaces to specification. Work alongside a curb machine as needed. Work alongside a laser screed as needed. Work from grade stakes, string lines, and plans to place, consolidate, and finish concrete accurately. Work safely and follow all jobsite safety protocols. Requirements Journeyman-level experience required — this position is not open to apprentices or entry-level candidates. Proven, hands-on experience finishing site concrete — roads, parking lots, curbs, sidewalks, and drive approaches. No residential experience needed; this is commercial/municipal site work only. Demonstrated skill with straight edge/screeding, bull float, and broom finishing — required. Previous experience working alongside a curb machine — preferred. Previous experience working alongside a laser screed — preferred. A leader who can guide a crew, set the pace, and hold the work to a high standard. Reliable transportation and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license preferred.

Pay:

$35.00 - $42.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
