CONCRETE LABORER
EXPERIENCED
Perrin Asphalt & Concrete | Akron, Ohio | Full-Time About Us Perrin Asphalt & Concrete has been a trusted name in paving and concrete construction in the Akron, Ohio area for 70 years. We work on municipal and commercial site concrete — roads, parking lots, curbs, and related flatwork — throughout Northeast Ohio, and we're looking for an experienced concrete laborer to join our crew. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Concrete Laborer with a strong background in site concrete — roads, parking lots, curbs, and related flatwork. We're looking for a leader who can guide a crew, set the pace, and hold the work to a high standard. Responsibilities Work the chute and direct the concrete mixer during pours. Place concrete for site concrete work. Rake concrete during placement. Set forms for site concrete work. Work from grade stakes and stringlines. Work alongside a laser screed and curb machine as needed. Guide and set the pace for the crew, holding the work to a high standard. Work safely and follow all jobsite safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience working chute and directing a cement mixer during concrete pours. Experience placing and raking concrete. Experience working alongside a concrete pump. Form setting experience for site concrete. Ability to work from grade stakes and stringlines. Comfortable working alongside a laser screed and curb machine; previous hands-on experience with both preferred. A leader who can guide a crew, set the pace, and hold the work to a high standard. Reliable transportation and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license preferred.
Pay:
$32.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
