Responsibilities Assist with concrete pouring, spreading, and finishing to create smooth, durable surfaces according to project specifications. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as concrete cutting, formwork construction, and rebar installation. Support the setup and dismantling of formwork and reinforcement (rebar) in accordance with blueprints and technical drawings. Use a concrete mixer and concrete pumping equipment to facilitate efficient placement of materials on site. Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of work. Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations, heavy lifting, and proper handling of tools and materials. Assist with other construction activities such as drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and renovation work as needed. Qualifications Previous experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as carpentry or plastering. Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Familiarity with heavy machinery including concrete mixers, concrete pumps, power tools, and hand tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus. Strong work ethic with excellent teamwork skills; ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
