Responsibilities Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine concrete finishing requirements. Prepare and set formwork using carpentry skills and construction plans to create molds for pouring concrete. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, hand tools, and concrete cutting equipment safely and efficiently. Pour, spread, level, and smooth concrete surfaces with precision using trowels, floats, and other finishing tools. Install rebar reinforcement according to specifications to ensure structural integrity. Apply finishing techniques such as smoothing, texturing, caulking, stucco application, and plastering for aesthetic appeal. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, working with rebar and formwork construction, concrete pumping, and workplace safety regulations. Conduct quality checks on finished surfaces to ensure compliance with blueprint specifications and project standards. Collaborate with team members on construction site activities including renovation projects and heavy lifting tasks. Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling tools and disposing of debris in accordance with safety guidelines. Experience Proven experience working on construction projects involving concrete finishing, formwork construction, or related trades. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting detailed blueprints or technical drawings. Familiarity with heavy machinery such as concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and rebar installation techniques. Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Hands-on experience with concrete pouring, cutting, caulking, stucco application, plastering or renovation work is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining attention to detail under demanding conditions.
