Job Overview Join our construction team as a Concrete Construction Laborer/Finisher. You'll work on a variety of construction projects, specializing in concrete pouring, finishing, and formwork. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of formwork, rebar installation, and concrete molds according to detailed blueprints and specifications Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently to facilitate pouring and finishing activities Perform concrete pouring, spreading, leveling, and finishing to achieve smooth surfaces with proper texture and elevation Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprint specifications to ensure accurate execution of tasks Install rebar reinforcement securely within forms to provide structural integrity for poured concrete elements Conduct concrete cutting, surface smoothing, caulking, stucco application, drywall installation, plastering, tile laying, and other related finishing tasks as needed Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for yourself and team members while adhering to safety protocols at all times Experience is ideal but not necessary we will train! Proven experience working on construction projects involving concrete pouring, finishing, or related trades such as carpentry or masonry Hands-on knowledge of concrete forming techniques, metal stud framing, heavy lifting, and renovation work Ability to operate construction tools including power tools, hand tools, concrete mixers, pumps, saws for cutting concrete or rebar Understanding of construction site safety regulations and best practices for working with heavy materials and equipment Prior experience with rebar installation, concrete cutting or finishing is highly desirable Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working on active construction sites in various weather conditions Embark on a rewarding career path where your skills help shape the world around us! $26.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
