+ Benefits We're partnered with a very well established and growing concrete contractor seeking an experienced Estimator to join its Charleston office. This is an excellent opportunity for an Concrete Estimator who understands concrete construction, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and wants to join a business with a strong reputation, healthy project pipeline and genuine opportunities for long-term career progression. The successful candidate will play a key role in the preconstruction process, producing accurate estimates while working closely with operations, management, clients, subcontractors and suppliers. As a Concrete Estimator, you will: Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for concrete construction projects Review drawings, specifications and project requirements Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed scopes of work Analyze labor, material, equipment and subcontractor costs Manage multiple bids and projects simultaneously Work closely with operations and project teams to ensure estimates reflect real-world construction requirements Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors Assist with bid strategy, value engineering and preconstruction planning Follow up on pricing, proposals and outstanding information to keep bids moving Collaborate with internal teams throughout the estimating and handover process What We're Looking For Previous estimating or preconstruction experience within concrete construction Strong knowledge of concrete scopes, quantities, labor and material costs Experience reviewing construction drawings and specifications Strong quantity takeoff and estimating capabilities Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills The ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously Strong communication and relationship-building skills A collaborative approach and willingness to work closely with operations teams A proactive mentality with the ability to take ownership of projects from initial bid through handover You'll be joining an established concrete contractor with a strong presence in the market and an excellent reputation for delivering complex projects.
