Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Concrete General Laborer to join our construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various concrete-related tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to achieve smooth and durable surfaces Set up and dismantle formwork structures according to blueprint specifications Install rebar reinforcement as per engineering plans to ensure structural integrity Operate hand tools and power tools safely for cutting, shaping, and securing concrete components Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute project requirements Support the installation of hardscape features such as walkways, patios, and retaining walls Perform heavy lifting tasks and handle materials safely in accordance with workplace safety regulations Aid in concrete pumping operations and ensure proper placement of concrete materials Conduct minor repairs such as caulking, plastering, or tile laying as needed Follow all safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure construction environment Experience Previous experience working on construction projects involving concrete or related trades preferred Knowledge of construction estimating processes is advantageous Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings essential Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, cutting, and pouring required Practical understanding of construction workplace safety regulations necessary Skills in carpentry including framing, trim carpentry, and flooring installation beneficial Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and concrete mixers confidently Experience with rebar installation, formwork construction, and concrete pumping highly desirable Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment To apply, come into our office to fill out an application and for an onsite drug test. 1101 Woodridge Center Drive Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28217.
