Concrete Finisher Laborer

Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Finisher Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into durable, high-quality concrete structures. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, from commercial developments to renovation sites, ensuring concrete surfaces are finished with precision and excellence. As a Concrete Finisher Laborer, you'll bring your hands-on skills, mechanical knowledge, and safety awareness to every task, helping us deliver outstanding results while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Duties Assist in the preparation of construction sites by setting up formwork, rebar installation, and concrete pouring operations. Operate hand tools and power tools to smooth, level, and finish concrete surfaces according to blueprint specifications. Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of concrete finishing tasks. Use concrete mixers and concrete pumping equipment to facilitate efficient pouring processes on various projects. Perform concrete cutting, finishing, and sealing tasks such as caulking and plastering to achieve smooth, durable surfaces. Support formwork construction and dismantling while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and working at heights. Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools, disposing of debris responsibly, and following construction safety regulations at all times. Experience Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as carpentry or masonry. Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, power equipment, and concrete mixing machinery. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately. Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations including OSHA standards or equivalent safety protocols. Hands-on experience with rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete pouring, cutting, and finishing techniques. Knowledge of renovation projects involving plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, or trim carpentry is a plus.
