Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Laborer and become a vital part of building durable, high-quality structures. In this role, you will work on various construction projects, focusing on concrete-related tasks that require precision, safety awareness, and teamwork. Your hands-on skills will help transform blueprints into reality, contributing to the creation of functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. This position offers an energetic work environment where safety, craftsmanship, and efficiency are prioritized. Responsibilities Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to ensure smooth and level surfaces according to project specifications. Set up and dismantle formwork for concrete structures using carpentry skills and hand tools. Install rebar reinforcement in accordance with blueprint specifications to strengthen concrete elements. Operate power tools and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting tools safely and effectively. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for yourself and team members. Perform tasks related to concrete cutting, surface finishing, caulking, plastering, and tile laying as needed for renovation or new builds. Experience Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete work or related trades such as carpentry or masonry. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus for understanding project scope and resource needs. Familiarity with blueprint reading, technical drawing interpretation, and construction plan execution. Hands-on experience with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and reinforcement installation (rebar). Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely in compliance with safety protocols. Understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Pay:
$15.00 - $29.51 per hour
