ROLE OVERVIEW

The Crew Lead is one of the most important roles in our company. You are responsible for leading your crew, delivering on our promises, and providing every customer with a 5-Star experience — from the first handshake to the final walkthrough. This is a hands-on field leadership role. You will work alongside your crew every day while owning job site operations, quality control, customer communication, and team development. You set the standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Site Leadership Lead daily job site operations — assign roles, build the game plan, and set the pace for your crew Conduct customer check-in walkthroughs before unloading — confirm floor system, color, vertical, stairs, stopping point, Tracbite, control joints, and heated floors Introduce your crew to the customer and walk them through the day's schedule Communicate with customers throughout the job — arrivals, breaks, lunch, completion, and cure time instructions Conduct a final customer walkthrough at job completion and ask for a named review Installation Execute the full installation

SOP:

surface prep, grinding, repairs, base coat, flake broadcast, scrape, and topcoat Mix and apply Polyurea base coat and Polyaspartic topcoat Leave every job site cleaner than you found it Training & Team Development Train new team members on all installation SOPs using the 30-day training agenda Complete daily job forms Coach your crew in real time — address issues with the individual first, escalate repeated behavior to your supervisor Set the standard for job site etiquette: professionalism, respect, appearance, and customer communication Truck, Equipment & Compliance Stock trucks daily with sundries (roller covers, diamonds, brushes, mender, armor patch, etc.) using the shop checklist Load daily materials (flake, base, topcoat, propane, special materials) the night before or morning of each job Complete monthly maintenance on trucks, trailers, generators, vacuums, Lavinas, and hand grinders Adhere to and enforce the attendance policy — understand the point system and hold your team accountable

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Minimum 6 months of hands-on floor coating experience — polyurea, polyaspartic, epoxy, or similar systems Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise a crew in a field or trades environment Proficiency with concrete surface prep equipment: Lavina grinders, 7" and 4" hand grinders, vacuums, generators Working knowledge of diamond bond selection, MOHS pick testing, and CSP prep standards Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and problem-solving on the fly Reliable, punctual — able to hold yourself and others to a consistent standard Professional customer communication skills — you represent the company from check-in to closeout Comfortable working in varying temperatures and job site conditions Ability to pass a background check

Pay Structure $26-40Hr.
