The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in all aspects of concrete work, including site preparation, layout, footer excavation, forming, pouring, finishing, and masonry. This individual should be a dependable leader who can effectively manage a crew, maintain project quality and productivity, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
Scope of Work:
Our projects include a variety of residential and commercial concrete and masonry work, including: Footers and foundation excavation Monolithic slabs Foundations and foundation walls Concrete forming, pouring, and finishing Masonry work, including block installation
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a concrete crew on residential and commercial projects Oversee all aspects of concrete and masonry work, from site preparation and layout through completion Coordinate daily tasks and ensure the crew is working efficiently and productively Read and follow project plans, specifications, and directions Maintain quality control and ensure work meets company and project standards Communicate with project managers, superintendents, and other team members regarding project progress and needs Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and safe Enforce company safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment Help train and mentor crew members
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Concrete Foreman or extensive experience in the concrete industry Must have experience laying out and digging footers according to project plans and specifications Experience with monolithic slabs, foundations, concrete finishing, and masonry/block work Strong knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, and finishing techniques Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a crew Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Must be able to safely operate heavy machinery and concrete finishing equipment, including excavators, skid loaders, and power trowels/finish trowel machines Strong problem-solving and communication skills Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic Ability to perform physically demanding work and work outdoors in varying conditions Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

$57,600.00 - $67,200.00 per year
