Quality Control Technician - Concrete & Construction Materials Mid-Metro, TN (Within 45 Minutes of Murfreesboro) Full-Time Help Build the Infrastructure Our Communities Depend On. Your responsibilities will include:
Perform quality control testing on concrete and raw materials Collect and test aggregate, cement, and other production materials Record, analyze, and report test results accurately Assist with troubleshooting concrete performance and quality concerns Maintain organized testing records and documentation Keep the laboratory clean, organized, and inspection-ready Work closely with the Quality Control Manager to maintain company quality standards Follow ASTM, company, and industry testing procedures Maintain required certifications through training, testing, and continuing education Promote a safe work environment by following OSHA regulations and company safety policies Assist with additional quality and testing projects as needed Required High School Diploma or GED Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills Ability to perform calculations involving percentages and variables Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to lift up to 80 pounds Commitment to workplace safety Must reside within approximately 45 minutes of Murfreesboro, Tennessee Preferred Experience in one or more of the following: Concrete Quality Control Ready Mix Concrete Construction Materials Testing Aggregate Testing Concrete Production Laboratory Testing Field Testing ASTM Testing Procedures ACI Concrete Testing OSHA Safety Practices Concrete industry experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
