We are seeking an Assembly Operator on 1st and 2nd Shift to join our team at Wesanco in Smyrna TN!

Hourly Rate:

$19.00 + $1.00 Shift Differential for 2nd shift

Job Summary:

Performs repetitive and standardized assembly operations using assembly tools.

Essential Functions of Job:

Performs repetitive and standardized assembly operations using assembly tools. Checks quality of parts visually and by the use of calipers as required by work order. Records production parts produced on appropriate production card. Reports any problems to the Production Team Lead.

Job Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED Good dexterity to handle small parts Accuracy and attention to detail is required Ability to lift 40 lbs. on regular basis Ability to remain in standing position more than 95% of working hours.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics. Detail-oriented and consistent. Works well as a productive member of a team. Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment. Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. One year of related assembly experience.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and/or sitting and reaching with hands and arms. May occasionally drive forklifts and operate equipment. Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.
