Responsibilities Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to achieve smooth, durable surfaces according to project specifications. Set up formwork and scaffolding using carpentry skills to shape concrete structures accurately. Install rebar reinforcement in accordance with blueprint specifications to strengthen concrete elements. Operate power tools and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting tools safely and efficiently. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise placement of concrete components and formwork. Perform site preparation tasks including heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe work environment. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols diligently to prevent accidents and injuries. Qualifications Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete labor or related trades such as carpentry or masonry. Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and machinery used in concrete work including mixers, pumps, saws, and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately. Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, and rebar installation processes. Familiarity with construction estimating principles and safety regulations applicable to construction sites. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, operate heavy machinery, and stand for extended periods during demanding work shifts. Prior experience with renovation projects or working on diverse construction environments is highly desirable.
