full-time Project Manager - Commercial Concrete-Austin / Central Texas Our client, a leading commercial concrete contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support continued growth across the Central Texas market. This is an opportunity to join a highly respected industry leader delivering complex self-perform concrete projects for data centers, distribution facilities, manufacturing plants, warehouses, commercial developments, and other large-scale structures. As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in leading projects from preconstruction through closeout while partnering closely with operations teams, superintendents, clients, and trade partners to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities Manage concrete construction projects from contract award through final completion Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls Coordinate field operations, superintendents, self-perform crews, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders Oversee structural concrete, foundations, elevated slabs, site concrete, and tilt-up/tilt-wall operations Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation Monitor project costs, labor productivity, production rates, and overall project performance Lead owner, architect, engineer, and subcontractor meetings while maintaining strong client relationships Support procurement, buyout, contract administration, and material purchasing activities Identify opportunities for value engineering and operational improvements Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards Qualifications 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial concrete construction Experience managing self-perform concrete scopes on projects valued from $10M to $100M+ Strong understanding of concrete operations, scheduling, cost tracking, and project controls Experience with foundations, slabs, elevated decks, structural concrete, and reinforced concrete systems Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, schedules, and specifications Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Proven success managing project budgets, schedules, field teams, and client relationships Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Performance-based bonus program Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with company match Paid time off and company holidays Career advancement opportunities with an industry-leading contractor Ideal Background The ideal candidate will have experience managing self-perform concrete scopes on large commercial and industrial construction projects, including: Data Centers Manufacturing Facilities Distribution & Warehouse Projects Industrial Facilities Commercial Buildings Healthcare Facilities Higher Education Projects Mixed-Use Developments Candidates with a strong self-perform concrete background and experience managing complex concrete packages are highly encouraged to apply.
