Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves performing a variety of manual and technical tasks related to concrete work, including mixing, pouring, finishing, and installing concrete structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans. Responsibilities Prepare construction sites by setting up formwork, rebar installation, and ensuring proper alignment according to blueprints and specifications. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces with precision to meet project standards. Cut, shape, and install concrete forms and related structures such as curbs, stairs, and slabs. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to execute specific tasks accurately. Maintain safety protocols on-site by adhering to construction workplace safety regulations. Assist in the installation of metal stud framing, stucco, plastering, caulking, flooring, and other related tasks as needed. Perform heavy lifting and operate machinery required for large-scale concrete projects. Support renovation projects by applying skills in concrete cutting, finishing, and formwork construction. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete labor or related trades. Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating power tools and heavy equipment safely. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus. Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations is essential. Skills in rebar installation, concrete pouring, finishing techniques, and formwork construction. Experience with concrete cutting, pumping operations, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and flooring installation is desirable. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work. Basic carpentry skills including metal stud framing are advantageous. Ability to work effectively within a team environment on diverse construction sites. This position is integral to delivering durable structures through skilled concrete work.
