Position is for a working foreman with the primary responsibilities of providing field supervision over crew involved in the installation of substation foundations. This position is also responsible for performing related job briefings and required safety meetings. Some daily duties shall consist of the following:
- Conduct job briefing and safety meeting with crew.
- Demonstrate a through knowledge and willingness to perform any function of the substation crew required.
- Manage trucks, tools, timesheets, materials, safety equipment, and ect.
- Assist in educating/qualifying less experienced workers.
- Schedule equipment, material, and subcontractors required for job.
- Adverse weather conditions can be expected (heat/cold).
- Position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, talking, hearing, and lifting over 50 pounds.
- Work is subject to interstate travel.
- Requirement to read and understand blue prints a must.
- Knowledge of laying out foundations.
- OSHA 30 will be required once hired if not already obtained.
- Ability to know how and able to finish concrete.
- Haul equipment, job trailer, and tooling to jobsites.
