Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist with various concrete-related tasks, ensuring the successful completion of construction projects with precision and quality. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will contribute to building durable, aesthetically pleasing structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in concrete finishing, formwork, rebar installation, and more, all while working on diverse construction sites. Responsibilities Assist with concrete pouring, finishing, and surface smoothing to achieve high-quality results. Support the installation of rebar and metal studs according to blueprint specifications and safety standards. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to cut, shape, and position concrete forms and materials. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Prepare work sites by setting up formwork, scaffolding, and other necessary structures for concrete placement. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for yourself and team members. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for concrete finishing, caulking, stucco application, and renovation projects. Requirements Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete work or related trades such as carpentry or plastering. Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation (including concrete mixers and pumps), and construction site safety protocols. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately. Familiarity with concrete forming, cutting, pouring, finishing techniques, and rebar installation processes. Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and performing physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting. Knowledge of construction estimating principles is a plus but not mandatory. Strong understanding of safety regulations specific to the construction industry to ensure compliance at all times. Pay:
