This role ensures that work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The Concrete Superintendent manages field crews, coordinates with project leadership and subcontractors, and drives schedule and productivity to meet project deadlines and budget targets. Salary is depending on experience. Key Responsibilities - Manage all on-site concrete activities, including layout, forming, placement, finishing, and curing Supervise foremen, laborers, and finishers, ensuring clear communication and direction Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials for maximum field productivity Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications Enforce safety standards and ensure OSHA and company safety compliance Conduct daily site walks and planning meetings; maintain accurate field reports Troubleshoot issues, mitigate risks, and ensure smooth project execution Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to stay aligned on scope, sequencing, and schedule Oversee quality control and ensure the final product meets project and industry standards Track production metrics, labor hours, and material usage to support cost control Lead by example—maintaining a culture of accountability, safety, and craftsmanship Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area.
