Field Technician - Concrete Testing
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Field Technician to join our team performing concrete field sampling and testing services. This position involves working on construction sites to cast concrete cylinders for future compression strength testing and ensuring samples are collected according to industry standards and specifications. This is a field-based position requiring flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work long and inconsistent hours based on project schedules and concrete pours. Overtime is frequently available with no set limit. Responsibilities
Perform concrete field sampling and cylinder casting on active construction sites
Prepare, label, transport, and document concrete test specimens
Follow ASTM and ACI testing procedures and safety requirements
Maintain accurate field reports and chain-of-custody documentation
Communicate professionally with contractors, inspectors, and project managers
Maintain cleanliness and organization of testing equipment and vehicles
Travel to various job sites as needed
