This role is vital in ensuring that all concrete work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a Concrete Foreman, you will coordinate crews, manage schedules, interpret technical drawings, and ensure compliance with construction regulations. Responsibilities Supervise and manage concrete crews, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to guide onsite activities. Coordinate construction schedules and workflows using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or ProCore to meet project deadlines. Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations across all site activities. Oversee quality control measures, including inspecting concrete mixes, curing processes, and finished surfaces for compliance with specifications. Manage project documentation including contracts, daily reports, safety logs, and progress updates using tools like Bluebeam and Prolog. Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, scheduling adjustments, and resource allocation to optimize productivity. Supervise crew management activities including training, performance evaluations, and enforcing safety protocols. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety practices and ensure construction regulations are followed diligently. Utilize technical tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary for specific projects involving pipeline or electrical components. Requirements Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction as a supervisor or foreman with a focus on concrete work. Strong knowledge of construction management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid, and Primavera. Extensive understanding of blueprint reading, construction drawing review, project scheduling, and construction safety management. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining high safety standards. Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations (OSHA) and local building codes related to concrete work. Excellent communication skills for managing crews, coordinating with project teams, and managing client expectations. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and oversee quality control measures on-site. Valid certifications such as OSHA safety training; additional certifications like management training or specific technical licenses are preferred. Physical capability to perform site supervision duties including standing for long periods and inspecting various site conditions.
