Job Description

Concrete Laborer Job Description We are seeking a dependable Concrete Laborer to join our concrete construction team. The Concrete Laborer will assist with the preparation, placement, construction, and cleanup of concrete work on active jobsites. Previous concrete experience is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that requires working outdoors. The employee may be exposed to hot and cold temperatures, rain, snow/ice, humidity, dust, concrete dust, fumes, vibration, mud, and other typical construction-site conditions. We are looking for a candidate who is team-oriented, safety-minded, willing to learn, and able to follow instructions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist with the construction of concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, and other concrete work.
  • Load, unload, carry, and organize forms, tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Assist with setting, stripping, and cleaning concrete forms.
  • Shovel, rake, spread, and move concrete, stone, dirt, and other materials.
  • Assist with preparing and grading areas for concrete placement.
  • Assist with placing rebar, wire mesh, and other reinforcing materials.
  • Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and compaction equipment.
  • Assist with pouring and finishing concrete.
  • Clean tools, equipment, forms, and work areas.
  • Perform other construction-related duties as assigned. Requirements
  • The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting or carrying 50 pounds or more.
  • Must be able to commute to jobsite or central location.
  • Ability to work extended hours, early mornings, and overtime when project schedules require. Some travel may be necessary.
  • OSHA or other construction safety training is a plus.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
All employees are subject to random drug testing.
Compensation Hourly rate:
