Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dispatcher to join our team! The ideal candidate will live within a 30-minute commute. This full-time, in-person role requires a strong work ethic, consistent attendance, and the ability to manage logistics in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. As we prepare for increased demand over the next year, we're looking to expand our team with someone ready to contribute right away. Responsibilities Coordinate daily concrete deliveries and ensure timely dispatch of trucks. Communicate effectively with drivers, plant staff, and customers to manage scheduling and changes. Monitor real-time delivery progress and proactively resolve issues. Enter and maintain accurate dispatch and delivery data. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures. Support the team with administrative and logistical tasks related to plant operations. Use dispatch software and systems to track orders and manage scheduling. Provide excellent customer service and clear communication at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in concrete dispatching or logistics is preferred. Must be dependable with a solid work history. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Comfortable working minimum hours of 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM , with a 50-hour workweek required . Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure. Familiarity with transportation/logistics systems is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and maintain professionalism. Proficiency in data entry and attention to detail. Compensation Starting at $23.00/hour for candidates with no prior experience. Pay is negotiable for candidates with previous concrete dispatching experience.
