Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead crews performing sidewalk, curb, gutter, driveway, and ADA-compliant handicap ramp construction. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with concrete flatwork, grading, forming, finishing, and ADA accessibility requirements. Responsibilities Supervise and lead concrete crews on sidewalk, curb, gutter, and ADA ramp projects. Perform and oversee concrete forming, grading, rebar placement, pouring, and finishing. Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and site drawings. Ensure sidewalks, ramps, curb cuts, detectable warning surfaces, slopes, and elevations meet ADA and project requirements. Coordinate daily manpower, materials, concrete deliveries, and equipment. Establish proper grades, elevations, slopes, and drainage. Inspect forms and reinforcement before concrete placement. Operate or oversee the use of concrete tools and equipment. Maintain high-quality workmanship and production standards. Communicate with project managers, inspectors, subcontractors, and other field personnel. Ensure jobsites are safe, clean, and properly maintained. Complete daily reports and track labor, materials, and production. Troubleshoot field conditions and resolve construction issues as they arise. Train and direct crew members to maintain productivity, safety, and quality. Qualifications 3+ years of concrete construction experience; foreman experience preferred. Strong experience with sidewalks, ADA ramps, curbs, gutters, and concrete flatwork . Knowledge of proper concrete grades, slopes, elevations, forming, and finishing. Familiarity with ADA accessibility requirements. Ability to read plans and follow project specifications. Ability to lead a crew and work independently in the field. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements. Valid driver's license preferred. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who understands concrete flatwork from layout through final finish, can manage a crew efficiently, and takes pride in producing safe, clean, and ADA-compliant sidewalks and handicap ramps .
