Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality concrete finishing work on a variety of construction projects, including commercial, residential, and renovation sites. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life through precise concrete work, ensuring durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and shaping freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power tools to achieve specified textures and finishes. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute concrete forms, rebar placement, and other structural elements. Set up formwork and molds for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment and stability according to specifications. Install rebar reinforcement and metal studs as required for structural integrity before pouring concrete. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, cutting tools, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites. Perform concrete pouring tasks with precision, including finishing surfaces such as floors, sidewalks, driveways, and decorative hardscapes like stucco or tile laying. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe environment for all team members. Qualifications Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as carpentry or plastering. Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and machinery used in concrete work including power tools and hand tools. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus. Familiarity with concrete forming, cutting, pouring, finishing techniques, and rebar installation. Experience working with heavy lifting equipment and understanding of safety regulations in a construction setting. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols diligently.
