Hardscape Specialist (Experienced with Grading Paver Patios, Concrete, Retaining Wall, Fire Pits)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hardscape Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation and construction of high-quality outdoor hardscape features, including paver patios, concrete surfaces, retaining walls, and fire pits. The ideal candidate has a strong background in grading, site preparation, and the ability to execute projects with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform site preparation, including grading, leveling, and proper drainage setup Install paver patios, walkways, and driveways according to design specifications Construct concrete features such as slabs, footings, and decorative finishes Build retaining walls using various materials (block, stone, etc.) Design and install custom fire pits and outdoor living features Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and layout measurements Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively on job sites

Qualifications:

Proven experience in hardscape installation and outdoor construction Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, and base preparation techniques Experience with pavers, concrete work, retaining wall systems, and fire features Ability to operate machinery such as skid steers, compactors, and saws Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Valid driver's license (preferred)

Preferred Skills:

Ability to read landscape or construction plans Experience with custom outdoor living projects Leadership or crew supervision experience

Work Environment:

This position involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions and requires lifting, bending, and prolonged physical activity.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
