About Us:
Tony Lind Paving is a well-established paving and concrete contractor serving the Puget Sound region. We handle small to mid-sized residential and commercial projects and are known for high-quality work and a team that takes pride in doing things right. We're looking to add a hardworking Concrete/Asphalt Laborer to our crew.
Position Overview:
This role will primarily focus on concrete work — including site prep, forming, pouring, and finishing — with occasional support on asphalt paving jobs when needed. You'll be working on a variety of job sites including driveways, sidewalks, curbs, and parking lots.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with layout, grading, and sub-base preparation for concrete flatwork and curbing Set and strip concrete forms accurately and efficiently Mix, pour, spread, and finish concrete using hand tools (trowels, screeds, floats) and power tools (saws, compactors, vibrators) Apply broom finishes, edging, and jointing techniques for high-quality final surfaces Remove and replace damaged concrete when performing repair work Ensure job site cleanliness, tool organization, and adherence to safety standards Collaborate closely with crew members and follow instructions from the foreman Support asphalt paving operations as needed — tasks may include shoveling, prepping, compacting, and general labor duties Adapt to changing site conditions and help wherever needed to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
Prior experience with concrete work required — flatwork, curbing, sidewalks, finishing, etc. Willingness to support asphalt paving operations Valid driver's license and reliable transportation CDL a plus, but not required Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and takes pride in craftsmanship Dependable, adaptable, and a strong team player Must be able to pass a drug screen
