Job Description

Rainier Dynamics is seeking an experienced, hands-on Concrete Foreman to lead small crews performing roadway concrete restoration and full-depth panel replacement work in Western Washington. This is a working foreman position for a field leader who can direct crews, maintain production, uphold quality standards, and operate safely in active public works and civil construction environments. Our work includes full-depth concrete repair, panel replacement, sidewalk and curb restoration, ADA-related concrete scopes, sawcutting, demolition, removal, base preparation, dowel installation, forming, placement, finishing, curing, and site cleanup. This role is best suited for a foreman with direct experience in public works concrete rehabilitation who can lead from the front and maintain a high standard of execution, safety, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Lead daily field operations for concrete restoration, panel replacement, sidewalk, curb, and related public works concrete scopes Supervise and direct crew members, subcontractors, truck coordination, equipment movement, and daily site activities Plan and manage work sequencing, including sawcutting, demolition, removal, subgrade or base preparation, dowel and tie-in work, forming, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and cleanup Read plans, specifications, and field layouts to ensure work is completed accurately and in accordance with project requirements Coordinate with ownership, project stakeholders, inspectors, suppliers, traffic control partners, and prime contractors Maintain daily production while enforcing quality, safety, and company standards Conduct pre-task planning, daily field briefings, and ongoing jobsite coordination Track quantities, document field conditions, report delays or issues, and communicate operational needs clearly and promptly Ensure proper use, care, and accountability of tools, equipment, vehicles, and assigned crew assets Train and develop field personnel in safe, efficient, and repeatable work practices Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites Required Qualifications Proven experience leading concrete crews as a Foreman, Lead, or senior field supervisor Strong background in concrete construction within roadway, civil, municipal, utility restoration, pavement repair, or related public works environments Direct experience in full-depth concrete repair, panel replacement, sidewalk and curb restoration, or public works concrete rehabilitation is required Experience with core field activities such as sawcutting, demolition, forming, dowel installation, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and patching Ability to read and work from plans, specifications, and field layouts Ability to coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and production with limited day-to-day oversight Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements Ability to work outdoors in changing weather and physically demanding field conditions Ability to lift, carry, and work around heavy materials, tools, and equipment Reliable attendance, sound judgment, and a strong safety mindset Preferred Qualifications Experience working in active roadway environments or under traffic control conditions CDL Class A or Class B Flagger certification OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, saws, compact equipment, or other concrete-related field equipment Experience coordinating with inspectors, municipalities, utility owners, or prime contractors Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools for field communication, documentation, and coordination Experience using Microsoft Teams for communication, scheduling, file sharing, and job coordination What Success Looks Like Crews arrive prepared, organized, and ready to execute Work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification Daily production goals are met without compromising workmanship Site coordination is proactive and professional Field issues are identified early and resolved effectively The crew operates with discipline, accountability, and consistency Work Environment Outdoor field work in Western Washington Early starts, changing weather, and physically active jobsite conditions Work may occur on roadways, sidewalks, municipal sites, utility restoration areas, and other active construction environments Local travel may be required based on project location About Rainier Dynamics Rainier Dynamics is a Western Washington concrete restoration contractor focused on repeatable, short-duration public works and civil support scopes.
