Job Description

About the Role JWINN is hiring a Lead Crew Member to run our concrete cutting crew in the field. This is a hands-on job — you'll operate saws and drills alongside a crew of 2-4 while owning setup, sequencing, production, and quality of the cut. You're a point person on site. What You'll Do Operate wall saws, flat/slab saws, hand saws, ring saws, wire saws, and core drills (electric, hydraulic, gas) Set up rail and anchoring systems; lay out and cut to tolerance on openings, shafts, slab removals, trenching, and wall penetrations Core drill to specified diameter, depth, and angle Rig and remove cut sections safely; manage slurry, water, and dust control Identify rebar, post-tension cable, and embedded utilities before cutting Perform daily equipment inspections, blade/bit changes, and field maintenance Lead the crew: assign daily tasks, run pre-task safety briefings, train newer members Review scope and drawings before work starts; submit daily production reports Communicate professionally with general contractors and site supers What You Need 3+ years concrete cutting, coring, or heavy construction experience, including 1+ year leading a crew Proven proficiency with wall saw, slab saw, and core drill Ability to read construction drawings and lay out accurately Valid driver's license, clean MVR, insurable under our commercial policy Comfortable driving a company truck and towing equipment trailers daily CDL Class A or B strongly preferred; willing to obtain one with JWINN covering the cost Able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly and work in confined, elevated, dusty, all-weather conditions Subject to DOT physical and drug/alcohol testing Schedule & Pay Monday-Friday days, with night and weekend work as jobs require. $28-$40/hour based on experience, leadership track record, CDL, and certifications. Overtime at time-and-a-half over 40 hours.
Pay:
$26.35 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 55.0 per week
