Laborer - Agricultural Concrete Position Summary The Laborer position involves hands-on work in agricultural concrete construction. This role supports the crew in site preparation, concrete work, and general construction tasks while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient jobsite. Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Labor Assist with carrying and setting forms Maintain clean and organized job sites and trucks Follow direction from Foreman and Lead Laborer Concrete Work Assist with pouring and finishing concrete Set and dismantle forms for slabs and flatwork Assist with setting and stripping wall forms Tie rebar and support layout work Construction Support Load, unload, and distribute materials (lumber, steel, etc.) Assist with form layout and setup Keep jobsite clean and organized throughout the day Equipment & Tools Operate basic power tools and small equipment Assist with operating equipment such as: Power buggy Generators and compressors Finishing tools and machines Livestock Facility Construction Assist with building agricultural structures such as manure pits, feed slabs, feed bunkers, poured walls up to 24' Daily & Weekly Responsibilities Clean and organize truck at the end of each day Clean tools, equipment, and job site as needed Additional Duties Perform other tasks as assigned by management Minimum Qualifications Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting 35-75 lbs) Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English Ability to follow instructions and work within a team Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices Construction experience preferred, but not required High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Skills & Abilities Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to follow direction and stay on task Attention to detail Ability to work independently when needed Team-oriented mindset Punctual and dependable Physical Requirements Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movement Ability to lift 35-75 lbs regularly Use of hands, tools, and equipment required Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
