Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality concrete finishing work on a variety of construction projects, including commercial, residential, and renovation sites. Your expertise will help ensure smooth, durable, and visually appealing concrete surfaces that meet project specifications and safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while honing your skills in concrete finishing and related construction trades. Duties Smooth, level, and finish freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements and specifications Prepare forms, set rebar reinforcement, and construct formwork to shape concrete structures accurately Operate heavy equipment including concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting tools to facilitate pouring and finishing processes Install rebar and metal studs as needed for structural support and reinforcement in concrete applications Ensure compliance with construction safety regulations by adhering to proper procedures during all phases of work Collaborate with team members such as carpenters, masons, and other trades to coordinate tasks efficiently Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or carpentry Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and machinery used in concrete work including mixers, power tools, and heavy equipment operation Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans accurately Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Skilled in concrete forming, pouring, cutting, finishing, and surface detailing for both commercial and residential projects Experience with rebar installation, formwork construction, plastering, stucco application, drywall installation, caulking, flooring installation, tile laying or roofing is a plus Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Valid driver's license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment may be preferred Join our team if you're passionate about delivering top-quality concrete work that stands the test of time!
