We are seeking a master-level Lead Residential Plumbing & Heating Technician ready to step into a Working Foreman role. This position is designed for an experienced, senior-level field technician with 8+ years of hands-on residential experience who takes pride in top-tier craftsmanship and wants to transition into field leadership. What You Will Do Lead Residential Heating Installs:
Oversee and execute hands-on installations of residential hydronic boilers, fuel oil burners, propane/natural gas furnaces, heat pumps, water heaters, and residential fuel tanks.
Execute Plumbing Upgrades & Remodels:
Direct wet-area plumbing renovations (bathtubs, shower kits, vanities), whole-home re-pipes, kitchen updates, and general piping expansions or freeze-break repairs.
Crew Supervision & Jobsite Tracking:
Keep multiple residential installation projects on schedule, auditing active job sites to maintain immaculate craftsmanship, safety, and local code compliance.
Apprentice Coaching:
Train, mentor, and cross-train junior technicians and apprentices on system diagnostics, proper piping layouts, and combustion safety.
Technical Quality & Warranty Resolution:
Partner with sales and estimating teams to verify job scopes, resolve complex technical installation challenges, and troubleshoot warranty callbacks.
Customer Interaction:
Serve as the professional face of the company on-site, walking homeowners through system operations and rebate opportunities. What We Are Looking For 8+

Cold-Climate Heating Proficiency:
Strong, practical mastery of legacy and modern heating systems common in
Thorough experience with residential water heaters, fixture installations, drain/waste/vent piping, and complete bathroom/kitchen plumbing remodels.
Leadership Ambition:
A patient, natural problem solver who enjoys teaching apprentices, solving tricky mechanical puzzles, and desires a pathway into a long-term field superintendent role.
Logistics & Clearances:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a standard criminal background check and drug screen.
