Oversee and coordinate projects, day to day maintenance, and provide hands on assistance with the electric shop crew members in the field.

• For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position Certification in electrical trade.

Required to hold a valid California driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training Experience as a journey-level electrician; as well as experience with approved trade-related safety devices and practices. Experience in supervision/leadership to hire, assign and direct work, motivate, evaluate and reward performance, transfer or promote, suspend, layoff/recall, discharge, or otherwise discipline career staff employees. Experience and skill to read and understand technical data, commercial building plans, blueprints, diagrams and specifications. Experience interpreting and ing the following codes and standards: International Building Code, California Building Code, California Title

• 24, ADA, International Building Code, NFPA 70, ANSI standards; as well as experience reading and understanding technical data, commercial building plans, blueprints, diagrams and specifications.

Strong organizational and analytical skills to prioritize work, manage time under pressure, adapt to shifting deadlines, and perform mathematical and cost analysis tasks including budgeting, estimating, and tracking project expenditures. Effective communication and customer service skills to clearly interact with diverse individuals, resolve issues, negotiate agreements, and provide courteous support across in-person, phone, and email channels. Preferred Qualifications Experience using protocols required to identify and safely mitigate risks associated with hazardous materials found in construction materials (electrical systems). Experience establishing daily job schedules and reviewing work performed at various stages of completion. Skills to inspect or cause others to adequately inspect or perform quality control observation/analysis for projects in progress and upon completion. Knowledge of standard electrical maintenance repair and construction including tools, equipment, materials and coatings. Knowledge of University, campus and department policies, procedures and standard practices. Computer skills to utilize various programs and software for job tracking, word processing, spreadsheets, and email. Key Responsibilities 60%
