Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. This dynamic role requires a proactive leader who can manage teams, coordinate schedules, stay on track with project timelines, and ensure safety and quality standards are met on-site. Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities, managing crews and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications. Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to guide on-site operations. Coordinate project schedules using construction management software. Enforce OSHA safety regulations and federal construction safety standards to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel. Review and interpret contracts, change orders, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project scope and budget. Conduct quality control inspections, supervise construction safety management practices, and implement corrective actions as needed. Manage project documentation including daily reports, incident logs, and safety records; communicate effectively with management regarding project status. Skills Experience with construction site management across commercial projects. Proficiency in construction management software. Strong knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering documents accurately. Skilled in project scheduling and organization, budget management, and managing teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to supervise crews effectively while fostering teamwork. Hands-on experience supervising construction safety practices, quality control measures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Familiarity with prevailing wage preferred.
