Foreman Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Foreman to supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities for Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) installations. The successful candidate will lead and manage subcontractors and labor crews, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols. This role involves serving as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and vendors, as well as interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities for ADU installations. Lead and manage subcontractors and labor crews, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols. Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and vendors. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents. Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly used. Monitor project timelines, report progress, and proactively address delays or issues. Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with building codes and company standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times. Travel regularly to various job sites, sometimes requiring overnight stays. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience in residential construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role. Strong knowledge of framing, electrical, plumbing, and finish carpentry. Proven ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors effectively. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications OSHA 30 certification preferred. Work takes place in both indoor and outdoor environments as structures are completed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gardena, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
