Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscape Foreman, where you'll lead and oversee outdoor projects that transform and maintain beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. This role is perfect for energetic, detail-oriented professionals who thrive in outdoor environments and have a passion for horticulture, hardscaping, and grounds maintenance. As a key leader on-site, you'll coordinate crews, ensure quality standards are met, and manage all aspects of landscape construction and maintenance projects with enthusiasm and precision. Duties Supervise and manage landscaping crews to ensure efficient completion of lawn care, planting, hardscaping, irrigation installation, and groundskeeping tasks Oversee daily operations of landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and pest control to maintain healthy landscapes Coordinate hardscaping construction projects such as patio installations, retaining walls, walkways, and other outdoor structures Manage irrigation systems installation and repairs, ensuring proper operation and water efficiency across sites Operate company vehicles and groundskeeping equipment safely to perform outdoor work effectively Identify plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to ensure proper care and maintenance practices are applied Enforce safety protocols on-site to promote a secure working environment for all team members Skills Extensive outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance, gardening, tree care, and horticulture practices Proven supervising experience with crew management skills to motivate and direct teams effectively Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, plant identification, pruning, fertilization, and pest management Expertise in hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Skilled in irrigation management including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and system optimization Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely including mowers, trimmers, blowers, excavation tools and other groundskeeping machinery Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks clearly and foster teamwork Knowledge of safety standards related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful landscaping projects while developing your leadership skills in a fast-paced outdoor setting.
