A Construction Foreman supervises work crews at construction sites. Hires and manages construction workers and directs work according to plans developed by a project manager and architects. May specialize in a particular type of building project such as residential or industrial construction, or a particular part or stage of the construction process.
The Commercial Installation Foreman leads the on-site installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across commercial buildings and custom homes. Working under the Commercial Department Manager, the Foreman lays out jobs from plans, directs the crew through the install, and makes sure every system goes in to code and to Brower's exceptional quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role. You're on ladders and in mechanical rooms as much as you're coordinating with subs and GCs — running the job, not just working it.
