Position Summary FRDM Turf is looking for a Foreman / Entry-Level Project Manager to manage artificial turf installation projects throughout the Sacramento market. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to develop into a strong project manager. We're looking for candidates with a background in project management, construction management, general management, operations, or customer service who are ready to take ownership of projects and learn the construction side of the business. You will be responsible for keeping projects organized, coordinating installation crews, communicating with customers, solving problems in the field, and making sure every project is completed to FRDM Turf standards. What You'll Do Manage multiple installation projects from pre-installation through completion. Coordinate crews, schedules, materials, deliveries, and job-site readiness. Complete pre-install walkthroughs before projects begin. Contact customers within 48 hours of receiving a new project. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout installation. Communicate project expectations clearly with customers and installation crews. Visit active job sites and monitor quality, progress, and timelines. Identify problems early and coordinate solutions. Manage project updates, documentation, and change orders. Complete post-install walkthroughs with customers. Work closely with sales, operations, warehouse, and installation teams. Take ownership of each project and make sure it gets across the finish line. Who We're Looking For We are open to candidates early in their careers who have experience or education in: Project Management Construction Management General Management Operations Customer Service Construction, landscaping, or other field-based industries You do not need years of construction management experience. Recent graduates and candidates looking to transition into project management are encouraged to apply. What Will Make You Successful Strong organization and ability to manage multiple moving pieces. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Comfortable having difficult conversations and solving problems. Ability to communicate effectively with installation crews and customers. Willingness to learn construction and artificial turf installation. Comfortable spending time both on job sites and working on a computer. Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to make decisions and stay calm when plans change. Self-starter who doesn't need to be constantly managed. Valid driver's license and ability to travel between Sacramento-area job sites. The Opportunity This isn't a desk-only project coordinator position. You'll get hands-on experience managing customers, crews, schedules, materials, quality, and project execution .
