Director of Business Development SUMMARY:
The Construction Foreman (Foreperson) is a skilled working manager who is responsible for leading, directing projects, and guiding crew members to the successful completion of the job assigned. They will monitor the crew's work to ensure that tasks are carried out according to plan. When necessary, the foreman (Foreperson) may also work on projects as needed. The Foreman (Foreperson) is ultimately responsible for project quality. The Foreman (Foreperson) must be skilled and experienced in leading a job and earning the crew's respect.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Create and submit daily and weekly schedules to the Admin office for circulation. Assess job priorities and assign them to the Crew. Ensure that employees have and are using the appropriate tools and equipment needed to ensure a good output. Ensure that safety precautions are in place and are followed at all times. Maintain good communication with the Director of Business Development and coordinate with the lead onsite concerning both the crew and any other concerns that may arise both positive and negative. Assist employees and help train and learn new tasks. The Foreman (Foreperson) must give clear directions to workers as to what needs to be done to avoid repetitive mistakes. It is everyone's responsibility to ensure ALL company and personal tools are brought back from job sites. The Foreman (Foreperson) must evaluate the quickest and easiest way to do the job without sacrificing the quality of the work or safety. The Construction Foreman (Foreperson) and all workers must ensure that all safety measures are used at all times and at all construction sites. Construction Foreman (Foreperson) is required to oversee the various construction reports prepared by construction manager. Construction Foreman (Foreperson) must have good managerial skills. Construction Foreman should have good interpersonal and communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH EQUIPMENT OPERATION, ELECTRICIAL WIRING AND FRAMING. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
A minimum of three (3) years (preferably five(5)) or more years of experience in the construction field and three (3) plus years of experience working at the supervisory level

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret and provide a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Internet software; Service Order Processing systems; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
