Commercial Tilt-Up Construction Location:

Shafter, California Pay:
$50-$60 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

We are hiring an experienced Electrical Foreman for a large concrete tilt-up construction project in Shafter, California . This position will oversee crews of approximately 5-15 electricians and is responsible for safely completing assigned work on schedule, within budget, and according to Vasko Electric's quality standards. The ideal candidate is an organized, hands-on leader with strong commercial construction experience who can plan work, manage manpower, coordinate with other trades, and keep the project moving forward. Responsibilities Supervise and direct crews of 5-15 electricians, apprentices, and trainees Plan daily and weekly work activities based on the project schedule Assign tasks and clearly communicate production expectations Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and information needed to complete the work Review electrical plans, specifications, submittals, and one-line diagrams Plan and oversee underground conduit, site utilities, slab rough-in, sleeves, embeds, and electrical room installations Coordinate electrical installations with concrete pours and tilt-up construction activities Oversee the installation of feeders, branch circuits, panels, switchboards, transformers, lighting, controls, and related electrical systems Coordinate work with the general contractor, project superintendent, project manager, inspectors, and other trades Identify conflicts, constructability concerns, and material needs before they affect production Track labor hours, productivity, quantities installed, and remaining work Assist with short-term schedules, look-ahead planning, and project documentation Review employee timecards and daily reports for accuracy Conduct daily safety planning, job hazard analyses, and crew safety meetings Enforce company safety policies, PPE requirements, and OSHA standards Inspect completed work for quality and code compliance Mentor crew members and help develop future leaders Maintain a professional and organized jobsite Benefits Company-paid medical insurance Company-paid dental insurance Company-paid vision insurance Life insurance AFLAC supplemental coverage 401(k) with company matching Annual profit sharing Competitive wages Paid vacation Paid holidays Paid sick leave Ongoing leadership and safety training Long-term career advancement opportunities Technology and Training Vasko Electric uses industry-leading construction technology, including: Procore project management software Building Information Modeling (BIM) Bluebeam Trimble Robotic Total Stations Company training opportunities include OSHA, CPR and First Aid, aerial-lift operation, Lockout/Tagout, project documentation, safety leadership, and continuing electrical education. Qualifications Active California General Electrician Certification Proven experience as a foreman on large commercial or industrial electrical projects Experience supervising and directing crews of 5-15 employees Experience with large concrete tilt-up construction strongly preferred Strong knowledge of underground, slab, distribution, lighting, and commercial electrical systems Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, schedules, and one-line diagrams Strong planning, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to track manpower, production, materials, and project progress Working knowledge of the
NEC, OSHA
